| Wow, so a year and a couple months later...here I am. That's kind of ridiculous...Anyway, summer has blown by fast. I've been working, already took two classes, one May-Mester and one during Summer 1 session, and today I start Summer 2 with the ever so beautiful Anatomy and Physiology. It's gonna suck but at least I'm not taking it down at A&M where if you fail they slaughter you and you're the skeleton for the next semester's lab. Hopefully things will turn out good!
Summer has been a good blend of work, school, church, and play. It's been great gettin out on the lake jet skiing with my beautiful lady! Even though she won't ride the jet ski with me, guess she doesn't trust me ! Hangin out with my boys and kickin it old school, except for the whole thing about being a little bit older and more wise. Despite everything being so hectic...it's been kind of relaxing!
Work has been good, although I'm actually kind of quitting. It's been fun and I love working out every day and hanging out with some of my buds from high school, but, I just don't think it's what I need to be doing for this month. When I get back down to College Station I'll be faced with one of the toughest semesters yet, and I think that I just need to focus on my anatomy class and more importantly, focus on my walk with the Christ and grow stronger in my relationship with him. Aggie Impact is coming up in, oh, look at that, a month from today I'll be leaving with my camp and our freshmen for retreat! I'm pumped, but I've got to get after it to get everything ready for them, including myself!
How is everyone else doing this summer?! I don't even know who will get this update in their email, but if you do, Jeff says hello!!!! To all my aggie buddies, not to name many because I know I"ll leave people out, but ole boy KK and lil faithers...hope ya'll are holdin' it down in tha 'Co!!!!
Jeff's love goes out to er'body... -J-bird

| A sigh of relief...a breathe of a new fresh air...a different rumbling in my stomach. With my last final out of the way, the boxes are being brought out, plastic bags unfolded, soon to be filled with clothes, books, and other things that fill this 12'x12' cinder block room I call home. Indeed this is my last xanga entry from College Station, and knowing me probably my last entry for a while. I'm sure there will be a few summer updates. The typical crazy/exhausted entry after camp RYLA, and the ever so anticipated "HIGH" after having the opportunity to lead worship at IMPACT Camp. Today marks a day of growing up, well, in this life I think every day has the potential to be a day where "growing up" occurs. I've completed my first year of college. So many things to learn about this year that's now in the past...
- Going to a Crush party the night before a test does not give you good chances of making a good grade on that test...(but shoot, what does give you good chances, A&M sucks it hardcore on tests)
- The friendships made in college are so different than those made in highschool. I mean...you're living next door to people, you better make friends with 'em. But I think High School friendships mean so much more, in their own way. Given the fact that you have to make an effort in high school to pursue friendships, and even MORE of an effort once you're in college and 3+hours away from your high school friends, as opposed to 30 minutes max.
- College is a time to grow. Grow through yourself, through others, through God...many different ways.
- It IS possible to get too involved with too many organizations and not have enough time in the day, I had to learn that the hard way.
well...4 points about college are certainly not enough, but this room won't get packed by itself. At this time tomorrow, the truck will be get loaded, as well as the pop's. I'll be leaving College Station for 3 1/2 months, not to return until Aug. 17th. Good-bye College Station. Thanks for the good times, bad times, and all the times in between.
Jeff Egger Class of '09 A-A-A-A-A!
P.S. I really don't understand why that #4 won't turn white...i guess it's resisting?

| So my buddy Jon Maldonado (my roomie for next semester) told me he had a suprise for me for my birthday. I had no idea what was going on, and the whole week Becca had mentioned nothing about even coming to college station, for all I knew she was on a retreat with a prestigous(spell?) organization at OU all day friday. so yes, i get back to my dorm friday early evening, and my boy scott montgomery was waitin for me in my bathroom, quite suprised to say the least. So I thought that was it and went to sit in my chair, and then jon said there was still another suprise...thoughts go through my head..."no...it can't be, there's no way"...sure enough...walk through the bathroom to my suitmates door...open it up...and there she is. Biggest smile i've ever seen, arms stretched out, jumps at me and gives me a huge hug...and apparently i was so suprised i barely even hugged her back. But yes, none the less...that's probably the most suprised i've ever been in my life. So thanks to all the pps who thought about me on my birthday! Thanks for the phone calls from my Dallas folks, much love to all ya'll! Thanks to the pps who went out to eat Saturday night. Thanks to Scott for keepin my girl safe on the drive from dallas, and thanks to MY GIRL for totally suprising the heck out of and being better than i could ever imagine. Becca Lowder...i'm crazy about you! that is all...school will be over soon, can't wait to get back home... first post as a 19 year old...doesn't feel any different...cept for i'm hungry... lata pps... *BL* J-Bird

| So it seems that in college no one ever gives you anything, and just to establish, this isn't an entry of me being mad at a professor, just a thought that crossed my mind as I was thinking about what to put in the xangizzle.
Have you noticed the way test reviews change from HS to college? Anyway, maybe they haven't changed that much. But, I think there is a difference than reading something off of a page rather than actually finding it. Thumbing through the bible, using your hands, looking up lyrics for songs online, *looking up songs online and listening to them*, etc. So ya, That'll be the basis of my xanga entry. We'll see how it goes...
- "Untitled Hymn (Come to Jesus)" Chris Rice
- "What If" Coldplay
- Matthew 6:19-21
- "Scrabble Song" John Boswell Band
- James 4:7-10
- * "That's Amore" Dean Martin *
- Matthew 6:33
- "Aggie War Hymn" Nationally Famous Fightin' Texas Aggie Band - WHO9P! ;)
- "Walk By Faith" Jeremy Camp
- "Forward Motion" Reliant K
- * "Essengo" Selah *
- Jeremiah 29:11-14
So ya, we'll see how this plays out. Hope you had enough time to look up stuff. Good stuff up there, some silly stuff...but ya! This is how I wasted an hour of my day, so I'm not complaining. Come to think of it, not a waste at all! I kinda like this way of making a xanga, it's different. Next time I'll try to be normal.
As for me, I'm hanging in there. Had my Final Exam for Kine. 121 today and school is wrapping up. Pretty scary. Ready to be home. Ready for my relationship with God to really take effect in my life. Ready to know what it is I'm doing with my life. Ready to see people at church, ready to see friends from back home, ready to not have an assignment due everyday, READY to see Becca more than 2 days every 3 weeks.
What are you ready for?
Gig 'em and God bless, Jeff

| Howdy folks! So I guess I'll walk you through the spring break...obviously including interesting things, and excluding un-interesting things...and definitely things that xanga isn't worthy of... :)
So leaving college station was quite the event, taking Caleb back to Dallas to take him to DFW to fly to Minneapolis. Got stopped in traffic, turned the car off and threw the football for about 15 minutes on the side of the highway, then figured out we'd be stuck for a couple hours, so we figured out a way to get around it and got to the airport eventually. Went to the Munester track meet to see my boys from T-Street run (or somethin) and see Becca's lil sis Jenny dust them girls in the 4x1, 400, and 4x4 reppin for the Howe lady bulldogs! It's kinda hard seein the boys not walkin all over folks in some of the events...but...it's all good!
Shoot, had an awesome weekend hangin out with the Lowder fam in good ole howe, man gotta love those folks! Then set off for Arkansas on Sunday with Becca, the pops, and mom. Had a great couple days with her and the parentals just flat out relaxin and doin cool stuff. Playing putt putt, eatin buffets, seafood, goin on some crazy tours one of which we were in this car from like WWI or somethin that u could drive through the water, that was tight. Played some football with the Beccster, shoot if she hadn't already won my heart, you know she did throwin that tight rope spiral!!!! :)
The rest of the week was krunk, got to see becca everyday if you include post midnight stuff for two days! saw some of the boys, jammed out Sunday mornin in praise and worship, and rocked out with JBB sunday afternoon practicin for the show comin up this Sunday night at the Door Dallas. Bustin out accordian for this show...you'll have to come see.
All in all...an amazing spring break! The best one yet!!! Wasn't ready to head back to C.S...and shoot it took over 4 1/2 hours to get here...so that made the drive good! But ya, just not enjoying all the work i've got crammed in to the next couple days, not enjoying distance that separates people...but ya. 4 days and counting...can't wait!
I'm outa here kid-o-s....until next month (ha ha) you be good... Gig 'em and God bless, jeffersonian...
